Job description:
A highly regarded Top Ten manufacturer is actively seeking a skilled Process Technician specializing in plastic injection molding for a prominent manufacturing facility in Vermont. The Process Technician will be responsible for overseeing all compliance and processing activities during their designated shift. This includes executing start-up procedures, managing in-process activities, adhering to shutdown requirements, overseeing part containment, monitoring scrap levels, handling materials, submitting maintenance requests, performing mold sets/pulls, and fulfilling other assigned duties. Participation in the daily 5S and Process Audit program is a key aspect of the role.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience as a Process Technician in plastic injection molding.
Proficiency in executing line clearance activities following corporate methods.
Competence in process, robotic, and cycle time verification during start-up, with the submission of start-up shots to Quality as per QAR/CP.
Experience in completing in-process mold PMs at the prescribed frequency outlined in the Process Binder.
Ability to initiate work orders for repairing issues with molds, molding machines, and auxiliary equipment.
Familiarity with 5S and Process audits.
