Solar Engineer - Design a Brighter Future (On-Site or Fully Remote)
We are seeking a passionate Solar Engineer to join our growing team and play a key role in shaping the future of renewable energy. We design, procure, and construct innovative electrical power solutions for data centers, renewable energy projects, and microgrids.

- Design and engineer solar PV systems using industry-standard software like PVsyst
- Develop electrical drawings and single-line diagrams for solar projects
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other team members to ensure successful project execution
- Support project proposals and requests for quotations (RFQs)
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in solar technology
- Potential for travel to project sites (limited for senior engineers)
Qualifications:
The Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in Solar Engineering (for senior role; less experience considered for on-site Chicago position)
- Proven experience in PV system design using software like PVsyst
- Proficiency in electrical design principles and software (AutoCAD, Revit a plus)
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Strong work ethic, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- A passion for renewable energy and sustainability
