Title: Toolmaker
Are you a skilled machinist with a passion for precision manufacturing? We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Toolmaker to join our team. As a Toolmaker, you will play a crucial role in fabricating tooling, fixtures, and complex assemblies with tight tolerances. If you have a strong background in machining and a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Operate and program CNC machines and other equipment to fabricate tooling, fixtures, and complex assemblies.
- Work with various departments to meet their tooling requirements.
- Run or set up machines for production or R&D assignments as needed.
Skills and Experience:
- 5 or more years of experience as a machinist manufacturing complex parts.
- Prior experience as a Toolmaker is required.
- CNC programming experience using Gibbs Cam is required.
- Ability to set up and run CNC lathes and mills.
- Programming experience for 4 and 5 axis parts is preferred.
- Experience with fixture design and manufacture is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints.
- Solid problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Advanced math skills.
