Responsibilities
- Manage continuous improvement projects in the manufacturing environment.
- Successfully lead new manufacturing process start-ups.
- Successfully complete capital expense projects from conception to completion.
- Develop and manage annual budgets.
- Lead and own the division's sustainability metric reporting and performance.
- Train and supervise assigned personnel and recruit new personnel as required.
- Effective collaborate across other departments such as Operations, Safety, Maintenance, Production and others.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering or related STEM discipline.
- At least three years manufacturing experience in plastics compounding.
- Prior experience with color concentrates, color masterbatch, plastic additives for plastics compounding applications.
- Team leadership experience.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping, etc.
