The facility is a not-for-profit hospital around 250 beds along with numerous satellite facilities in Indiana and Ohio.

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) assumes responsibility and accountability for performing a wide variety of respiratory therapeutic and diagnostic services in accordance with established departmental policies.
The therapist will provide support for other healthcare members by assisting in transporting, positioning and moving patients.
The therapist will perform universal task as assigned such as answering the telephone, cleaning of equipment and checking for supplies.
Contacting the respiratory clerk or Material Handling for re-ordering supplies that are low in count or out completely.
The therapist will also be able to initiate all appropriate paperwork and retrieve records if necessary.
RESPONSIBILITIES could include:
-Emergency (ED)-critical care for patients ranging from newborn to geriatric.
-Critical Care Unit-critical care patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric.
-Acute Rehab Unit (ARU)-adult and geriatric patients.
-Mother-Baby Care Center (MBCC)-newborn, child-bearing women, surgical adult and geriatric women.
-Medical/Telemetry-adult to geriatric medical patients as well as adult to geriatric telemetry patients.
-Surgical- adult to geriatric patients orthopedic and urology services.
-Medical/Surgical/Pediatric-Surgical pediatric to geriatric patients, pediatric patients’ age from newborn to 14 years of age.
-Medical/Oncology-adult and geriatric patients and oncology patients (age14-geriatric).
-Psychiatric-adult and geriatric patients, senior behavioral services with psychiatric disorders/problems.
-Pulmonary Function Testing-ages 12 and geriatric.
-Cardiovascular- open heart and cardiovascular patient adult to geriatric.
Graduate of a recognized respiratory program.
Certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support required as part of the intubation competency within one year of employment/promotion into position. Competency must be maintained after initial training.
Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support is encouraged.
Certified in Neonatal Resuscitation required within one year of employment/promotion into a position. Competency must be maintained after initial training.
Facility is looking to add a few Respiratory Therapist to their team.
One opening is a day shift(6am-6:30pm), 36hrs a week.
Other opening is night shift(6pm-6:30am), 36hrs a week.
The range starts at $24.23hr and goes up depending on experience and they offer full benefits and relocation.
