Lead Electrical Engineer
- Mix of hands-on engineering + customer-facing work (working with sales, reviewing specs, explaining technical solutions)
- Involvement in new product design / R&D alongside existing projects
- No direct reports initially, with potential to move into leadership
- Opportunity to mentor junior engineers and support team development
- Exposure to both technical execution and customer interaction (“best of both worlds”)
- Schedule: Standard hours (8–5 or 7–4), on-site (~40 hrs/week) with occasional travel
- Location: On-site near Greenville, SC
- Relocation: will consider candidates who will have to relocate (sign-on bonus in lieu of relocation available)
Requirements:
- PE License (must-have)
- Experience in high voltage / power systems (transmission & distribution, switchgear, transformers)
- Strong knowledge of IEEE standards
- Relevant industry experience (companies like Siemens, Mitsubishi, ABB, Hitachi, GE, etc.)
- Ability to review specifications and communicate with customers
