Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Pharmacist to oversee day-to-day pharmacy operations in a dynamic retail setting. This position emphasizes accuracy, patient safety, and leadership in delivering top-tier healthcare services. Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure precise prescription dispensing and full compliance with all federal and state pharmacy regulations.

  • Conduct Drug Utilization Reviews (DUR) and quality assurance checks for each order.

  • Drive pharmacy growth through vaccination programs, Medication Therapy Management (MTM), and other clinical initiatives.

  • Lead and support pharmacy technicians in performance, training, and daily workflow.

  • Provide direct patient consultations and address medication or therapy concerns.

  • Manage pharmacy inventory, optimize ordering, and monitor sales performance to meet business goals.

  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care and resolve prescription inquiries.

  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and compliance documentation.

  • Step into leadership and management duties when needed to uphold operational excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of West Virginia (or eligibility for reciprocity).

  • Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.

  • Immunization certification (APhA or equivalent).

  • Strong leadership and communication abilities; proven record in patient service and team management.
