Position Overview
A fast-paced, high-volume staffing organization is seeking an energetic and driven Entry-Level Recruiter to join its recruiting team. This role supports high-volume hiring efforts within distribution and manufacturing environments and is ideal for someone who thrives in a results-oriented, deadline-driven setting.
The Recruiter will assist with sourcing, screening, scheduling, and onboarding candidates while maintaining accurate records and supporting overall recruitment operations.
Key Responsibilities
Candidate Sourcing
- Utilize an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) that aggregates applicants from multiple job boards and online platforms.
- Proactively source candidates through online searches, networking, and social platforms.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and anticipated openings.
Candidate Screening & Coordination
- Review resumes and applications to assess candidate qualifications.
- Partner with internal recruiters to identify the best candidate matches for client needs.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews.
- Conduct reference checks and background screenings as required.
Administrative & Onboarding Support
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the ATS.
- Assist with onboarding and new-hire documentation.
- Respond to candidate inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the recruiting team to meet daily and weekly hiring goals.
- Provide regular updates on candidate activity and hiring progress.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of recruiting processes and workflows.
Qualifications & Experience
- 1–4 years of experience in recruiting, staffing, or a related administrative role preferred.
- Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to learn and navigate Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Strong work ethic with a desire to learn and grow in recruiting.
