A top-tier provider of smart, safe, and sustainable building solutions is hiring a Commercial Fire Alarm Systems Sales Executive to expand their market presence in the Houston area. This is a high-impact role focused on selling large-scale commercial Fire Alarm projects ($500K+) to general contractors, electrical contractors, and end clients.

💼 What You’ll Do

Own and manage the full sales cycle for complex Fire Life Safety construction projects

Develop and execute territory plans targeting general/electrical contractors and strategic accounts

Schedule meetings, qualify opportunities, and build strong rapport with decision-makers

Lead the creation of financial justifications, proposals, and client presentations

Collaborate with technical and estimating teams to scope and detail system solutions

Provide ongoing account management and maintain regular client contact for retention and upselling

Track pipeline activity and deliver performance metrics weekly and monthly

Represent the brand at industry trade shows, demos, and customer events
🔧 Technical Expertise Required
-
5+ years’ experience selling complex Fire Alarm Systems over $500K
-
Minimum 3 years’ experience in construction sales

Familiarity with fire life safety codes, permitting, and compliance

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs
-
Proven success working with general/electrical contractors and end users

Strong background in DCS, PLC, HMI, and safety system integration is a plus

Simplex system experience highly preferred
