Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Estimator to develop accurate cost estimates for electrical construction projects. This position requires a solid understanding of electrical construction practices, materials, and labor costs in the California market.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents to develop accurate estimates.

• Prepare quantity take-offs for materials and labor.

• Solicit and evaluate quotes from vendors and subcontractors.

• Prepare bid proposals and budgets for commercial and industrial projects.

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement.

• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of electrical estimating experience in commercial or industrial sectors.

• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Accubid, Trimble, ConEst).

• Strong understanding of NEC and California construction codes.

• Excellent math, analytical, and communication skills.

• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple estimates.

• Experience with design-build and plan/spec projects is a plus.
