- Participating in the creative design and testing of custom automation machinery, equipment and components
- Collaborating with other project team members
- Completing projects in budget and on time
- Utilizing SolidWorks to design product structures
- Installing, running and maintaining designed products
- Testing and correcting issues
- Recommending design improvements
- Selecting of methods of production, fabrication and operation
- Ensuring design conformance
- Providing project status updates
- Documenting
- Travelling to customer sites as needed
- Ensuring successful startups.
- Developing customer automation bids
The background of the successful candidate must include the following:
- Three or more years of SolidWorks design experience
- Three or more years of mechanical engineering experience with custom automation machinery or heavy equipment
- An engineering degree
- Possess the ability to travel to customer sites as needed
- Possess a solid work history
- Being a US citizen or green card holder
- Having a residence within a 45 minute drive
