Essential Job Functions:

• Provide production/process engineering support to the site for ongoing production operations and new process introductions.  Serve as a resource for implementing engineering studies, designs, evaluations, and improvements to optimize utilizations. 

• ​Responsible for safe and efficient operation of assigned process areas such that all regulatory, health, safety and environmental requirements are satisfied. 

• ​Assist in day to day troubleshooting of equipment and processes.   

• ​Develop KPI’s that Monitor productivity, process yields, and product and process performance to meet production commitments in  the most efficient manner. 

• ​Develops, plans, and coordinates projects from inception to completion ensuring efficient implementation, timely completion, and compliance to budget. 

• ​Ensure operating procedures are up to date and in compliance with appropriate standards. 

• ​Responsible for evaluation, installation, programming, and service of DCS equipment.  Assist with the migration of process control systems. 

• ​Maintenance of ISO 9001:2015 certifications for the business by complying with processes, procedures, and instructions for all activities in which this role participates.​ 

• ​​Must acquire a working knowledge of ​knowledge and compliance with applicable quality standards ( ISO 9001, cGMP, EFfCI, etc.) 

• Responsible for the 24-hour technical coverage and troubleshooting for plant processes. This includes: 

• Handling unexpected and unusual circumstances (i.e., operator error, equipment failure, etc.) 

• SAP operations so production can continue. 

Qualifications & Experience:

• 3-5 years experience

• Bachelor’s degree required

• Formal training of production and maintenance employees on all PSM processes 

• SPC training 

• In-process calculations, where possible 

• Responsible for implementing Management of Change. 

• Assists with any Supplier Audits. 

• Maintains frequent communications with all teams, such as: Core Maintenance, Quality Control, Cost Accounting, Order Fulfilment, Engineering and Production 

• Awareness of the site’s hazardous waste management and training requirements 

• Works with EH&S on no routine waste generated and works to reduce.  

• Implements waste minimization efforts.
