TITLE: Director of Plant Operations, Hospital Facilities (80K +)

The facility is 125 beds and you could have a great work environment and live in a community around 25k population between Milwaukee and Madison.
As the Director of Plant Operations, person will work in collaboration with the Manager of Plant Operations and the Manager of Facilities, Clinics and Grounds.
Will work in the planning, directing, and coordinating, through hospital or outside staff of skilled, semiskilled and unskilled trade personnel, activities concerned with the maintenance and construction of building and grounds.
Plans such matters as design and development of plant facilities, formulation of operating rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
May be responsible for procurement of utilities or operation of utility systems.
Formulates procedures for use in event of accidents, fires, or other emergencies.
Inspects plant facilities or reviews inspection reports, to determine repairs, replacement or improvements required.
Assists with coordinating activities or personnel involved in repair and maintenance of facilities, buildings and equipment to minimize interruption of plant operations and improve efficiency.
Reviews reports of expenditures for previous fiscal year and proposed improvements to facilities in order to prepare budgets for the upcoming fiscal year.
Four to six years of Hospital general maintenance experience required.
Two to three years of supervisory experience required.
Would like a person to have an Associates or Bachelors degree.
Certification in a trade field such as: HVAC, Electrical or Plumbing is preferred.
Having a CHFM certification is also preferred.
Knowledge of code requirements such as JCAHO, NEC, NFPA and building codes required.
Detailed knowledge of HVAC mechanical systems.
Have knowledge of medical gas systems.
Knowledge of electrical systems & associated equipment such as emergency generators, transfer switches, disconnects, etc.
Knowledge of steam systems, their components and operation.
Knowledge of plumbing systems, their components and operation.
Knowledge of control systems as they relate to electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and digital.
Understand the operation of fire protection systems.
Have basic knowledge of construction procedures.

The hospital is a 125 bed acute care hospital that is Joint Commission Accredited.
Position reports to the CEO whom is well respected.
The range is 80K-110K depending on experience and there is a potential 10% yearly bonus. They have an excellent benefit package and will offer a relocation of up to 10K.
