Key Responsibilities

Business Partner with Site Controllers and Functional Leaders.

Develop improved costing models designed to improve NBA-Q/NBA-S costing process, and understanding of standard and actual costs, to ensure accurate decisions are derived. 

Assist Site Controllers with all GRiP, internal audit, and external audit remediation to ensure consistent and continuing control environment.  Ensure proper internal controls are in-place, consistent reporting of financial results, ensuring governance compliance and remediation of any identified issues.

Assist with developing of the annual operating budget, develop consistent methodology for calculating burden rates, track CIMS plans, and organize staff to help meet established timelines.  Develop models to understand year over year costing variances.

Collaborate with Site Controllers and Finance Director in preparing and analysing causal schedules.

Manage and direct the development of site specific plant profitability analysis.

Collaborate with functional leads to provide unbiased, data-driven analyses for operating, investment, capital allocation, and other business decisions to drive performance improvement.

Train Staff as needed on idash, MFg/Pro and other software as needed and develop the management information required to respond effectively to business demands.

Work closely with internal business partners to ensure they keep costs to a minimum, consistent with the aim of satisfying the overall business strategy.

Build external customer relationships and cross business partnerships

Demonstrate expertise in finance and accounting

Operate as an integrated member of the Finance team

Provide value adding analysis – the right information at the right time to support decision making

Create the appropriate control environment, standardizing processes and ensuring information systems deliver accounting integrity

Manage other projects as assigned



Significant working experience in the accounting environment of a manufacturing organization. Demonstrated career growth including cost accounting and financial analysis. Significant working experience in internal controls, operational performance analysis, inventory control and ERP systems.  Personal Attributes· High integrity.· Strong communication & interpersonal skills, with ability to work well with others, focus on long-term goals and provide leadership to support staff. · Self motivated.· Must be capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines. · Ability to work at detail and macro level.· Ability to conduct business in the English language.
