Clinical Nurse Coordinator RN Cardiovascular ICU-Full Time-Dallas, TX
Shift: Full Time-Nights-3x12 (Rotating Weekends)

The hospital’s robotic surgery staff are pioneers in performing minimally invasive surgery, which reduces pain, blood loss, and scarring, while also shortening the recovery period for patients. The facility also specializes in rehabilitation, heart and vascular care, and women's services, among other services. It also detects and treats all kinds of cancer while providing a calming and secure environment for its patients and respective family members.
Under the general supervision of the unit’s director or designee the CNC assumes responsibility for direction and coordination of all functions in the unit on his/her designated shifts. In collaboration with other members of the management team, this individual is responsible for the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit or department.
Will assume leadership responsibility for the management of the unit in support of the manager/director, including direct supervision of a portion of the unit/department staff, payroll editing, performance reviews, coaching and developing staff, performance management, recognition, and other duties as assigned. Each CNC on the unit will have designated responsibilities that may rotate, within one or more of the following core areas:
Quality, Safety, and Regulatory Preparedness
Employee Engagement, Physician Satisfaction, and Culture
Fiscal Responsibility including scheduling, overtime review, and supply management
Staff Development including education and competency; New Graduate (resident) and Preceptor support
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- BSN required
- Certification in specialty required within 1 year.
- Completion of charge nurse course required within one year.
- Other leadership training and activity in professional organizations highly preferred.
Two (2) years of clinical practice in the CVICU unit and leadership/ management experience is highly preferred.
Charge experience required (Any specialty)
MUST have CVICU experience (min 2 years)
MUST adhere to additional 4 hours- separate day for paper work and scheduling
Salary Range: Min $33.18-Mid $39.12(10 years experience)-Max $46.60(20 years experience)
Shift differentials: $3.75 Nights- 4.30 Weekends-Weekend+Nights $8.05
Sign on bonus: Up to $10K
Relocation Assistance: Up to $3K
