If so, an opportunity exists to work with an integrated health care system based in east central Ohio who is looking for someone to join their team.
The system is a not-for-profit and has over 300 physicians and multiple outpatient care centers throughout the area.
The system is the largest provider in a six county region and a primary referral center.
It offers a higher level of service than what is typically found in a community of its size including open-heart surgery, trauma care, a Level II neonatal intermediate care unit, neurosurgery and
comprehensive cancer services.

Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures on all types of patients in an efficient and caring manner in order to provide data for the diagnosis of a wide variety of medical conditions. Evaluates exams for diagnostic quality while using professional judgment in the performance of services.
-Operates all imaging equipment(radiographic, fluoroscopic, mobile and digital acquisition) to complete a variety of diagnostic radiology procedures.
-Produces acceptable images by determining proper technical factors based on individual patients and/or procedures.
-Follows all radiation protection and radiation safety policies.
-Assists physicians in radiographic imaging procedures as required.
-Prepares, assists, and administers (as appropriate) contrast media under the direction of a physician.
-Effectively uses computer systems (such as HIS, RIS, PACS) to process, access and distribute appropriate department and patient procedure information.
-Assists in transportation of patients to and from the department.
-Participates in providing education and information to patients and their families.
-Participates in clinical training of radiology students by providing instruction, supervision and evaluation as required.
-Assumes “call status” as necessary during off hours for emergency procedures.
-Participates in quality assurance/quality control activities as required.
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (or equivalent) in the appropriate specialty (radiography) and licensed by the State of Ohio in Radiology.
Competence in all diagnostic radiographic procedures performed at this facility.
Excellent interpersonal, decision-making, facilitation, conflict resolution skills.
Demonstrated excellence with listening, verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and under pressure in a complex and changing working environment.
Demonstrated computer skills and knowledge of computer software related to electronic imaging and clinical information management.

There are 5 open position due to growth:
-32 hours/week, 3p – 11:30pm
-36 hours/week, varied day shift (start time 8a – 9a)
-36 hours/week, 3p – 11:30pm
-40 hours/week, 8a-4:30pm
-40 hours/week, 7a-3:30pm
The pay depends on experience but the range is $21.16–$28.45/hr(candidate with 10 yrs experience would be around $24/hr) and there is a shift differential of $2.75hr.
The facility offers a sign on bonus $10,500(paid in 3 annual installments of $3500) and full benefit package and some relo assistance.
