Process Engineer – Specialty Chemicals
Location: Jacksonville, FL
My client is an international producer of specialty chemicals some of which are FDA/GMP regulated at this medium sized chemical plant. This process engineering group supports all on site units, responsibilities include self-generated optimization work using data analysis and simulation from DCS data, complete design through installation of projects ranging from $100,000 to several million dollars for chemical processing equipment (primarily distillation columns) and some day-to-day production support. The parent company is currently investing in high dollar upgrades and expansions at this site and others. This person will be responsible for larger projects as they gain experience which will include cost estimates, developing of preliminary and final P&ID’s, specifying equipment, vendor contact and startup. A bonus is included as well as relocation assistance.
