- Designs, plans and implements effective employee engagement activities and programs
- Drives, plans and implements effective recognition processes internal to the plant
- Identifies areas of opportunity to retain employees and develops initiatives to increase retention
- Ensures policies and procedures are followed
- Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals
- Provides feedback and recommends opportunities to reduce absenteeism and attrition
- Develop and implement effective positive employee relations strategies
- Champion the Commercial culture, drivinganenvironment of accountability, open communication, and high ethical standards
- Drive factory communications to include bulletin boards and LII TV’s
- Provide regular feedback to leadership concerning the cultural pulse on the floor
- Support the Vision and Mission statement of the Commercial business segment
- Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Requires a minimum of 6 years related experience
- Advanced ability to encourage communication and resolve conflicts is essential
- Able to get buy-in and commitment from both internal and external stakeholders
- Command respect based on experiences
Technical
- Sound knowledge of technical HR systems, processes and procedures
- Sound knowledge of applicable labor and employee law guidelines related to a manufacturing operation
- The ability to manage and mediate conflict is also is also essential
- Solid analytical and process management skills. Has strong business acumen and able to define and understand the most critical issues
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
