Summary:
Looking for a Hospital Pharmacy Manager to join their team.
This position is responsible for the operations of the Pharmacy which provides services to: Acute Care, Emergency Department, Surgery, Outpatient Infusion, Transitional Care Unit, Inpatient Behavioral Health, and other service areas as needed.
The ideal candidate will be able to communicate appropriately with pharmacy staff, patients, physicians, and other departments throughout the organization.
This position requires management of all regulations and standards as they apply to the pharmacy service, as well as the day to day operations of the department.
The Pharmacy Manager supervises the licensed and non-licensed staff in carrying out their duties, in addition to providing backup and/or filling the pharmacist role as needed.
The Pharmacy Manager coordinates processes with both clinical and financial departments within the organization.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy or higher.
At least 3-5 years of experience in a hospital setting.
Must be able to obtain a Montana license and be in good standing.
Must exhibit a high degree of professional excellence characterized by sound independent judgment, initiative, and a high standard of ethics.
Additional Info:
Facility is a full service, 25 bed acute care hospital with 24hr emergency care, full medical and surgical services and attached 36 bed skilled Extended Care Facility.
There is an attached Clinic as well for the medical providers and a 13 unit assisted living facility and a LTC Facility that is 80 beds including 16 of them a secure Alzheimer's unit.
The pharmacy manager will oversee 2 RX and 2 techs.
The facility is offering a range between 135K-145K depending on experience plus full benefits, relocation, housing allowance and sign-on bonus.
