Business Development Director (ALSO REFERRED TO AS ALLIANCE DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR)
This position is responsible for the sales and marketing of the company's Electronics Contract Manufacturing Services (EMS) and Contract Design Manufacture to meet new business development revenue and gross margin goals. You are presenting value added solutions that would fit within the company's vertical markets , strengths, and long term growth strategy.
NOTE LOCATION: Stated is Boston; candidate, however, can reside in any larger town/ city within the New England region - MA., CT., NY , ME, NH
The ideal candidate will:
Have a Bachelors degree / Engineering is preferred
Have a minimum of 10 years business development experience within the EMS or related industries.
Experience selling and extensive relationships within the Industrial and Life Science vertical markets
Verifiable success as a Business Development person
Solid experience in contract negotiations, quoting, knowing / understanding EMS operations
Of very strong interest to this client is:
A person who loves and lives to "hunt" and gaining new business
A person who is very comfortable working with client technical / engineering people and to sell engineering services
A person who has worked for or had experience working with Asian markets / personnel
