This role will take apart, clean, and repair a variety of production machinery and machine parts. The goal upgrade safety features, evaluate opportunities for automation, and ultimately to increase equipment life.
Primary tasks include:
- Inspection, disassembly, cleaning, replacement or restoration, reassembly and quality testing of equipment, machinery or parts.
- Create, implement and maintain consistent parts used in the build and rebuild of production / automation machines.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of parts, supply and tools needed for maintenance tasks.
- Schedule and complete regular preventative maintenance on production machines.
restoring a machine either by replacing a malfunctioning part or putting back together a ripped or broken part.
disassembling and recovering a piece of equipment or a machine to the comparable performance and service life of a brand-new machine.
providing equipment with devices, product components, or technology that were either not available or not common when the equipment was first manufactured.
Equipment examples: lathes, mills, benders, grinders, forming machines and coiling machines; manual and CNC.
First shift opportunity! Hours are M-F, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
