- B.S. Mechanical Engineering degree with 4+ years of Project Engineering experience out of the chemicals, polymers, foods, consumer products or a mechanical assembled product industry
- B.S. Chemical Engineering degree with 2+ years’ experience out of a chemical manufacturing environment
- Experience managing projects with minimum budgets of $100K, ideally up to $1M
- Pluses would be experience with PSM, utilities, reactors, and building expansions
This an attractive job with a large, established specialty chemical company for any Engineer who has managed or coordinated the design and installation of plant operating equipment. The plant itself currently has a significant multimillion-dollar expansion underway. This person will serve as the Project Engineer on retrofits and upgrades with budgets from $20K to $5M. As Project Engineer, they will oversee entire projects from concept through to installation on a variety of upgrades and retrofits. This person will need to be a jack of all trades and will be called on to support projects not only for operating equipment such as reactors and distillation columns, but also for utilities, building additions and foundation support. Other responsibilities include data analysis, vendor management, budget management and start-up assistance.
