This employee-oriented, manufacturer of global industrial products is hiring a full time, permanent Electrical Controls Engineer. The Electrical Controls Engineer will be designing, programming and sequencing operations. At time, this person will helping with start-up and equipment debugging. Although this person will working for an Engineering Manager in an office environment, there will be a minimal amount of work on the floor. There may be limited travel (the average is between one to three weeks-it is a couple days verses three weeks straight) to do a variety of work from technical customer meetings to starting up equipment. There is a full set of in-house service technicians and an outside service group well-versed in the equipment to do most of that work.
Successful candidates should have five years of experience programming Siemens and/or Allen Bradley PLC's. The ability to program from scratch and do technical writing is required. This person should be able to know the sequence of operation after programming a machine. Two years of ACADE (AutoCAD Electrical) experience is also required.
