TITLE: RN(Registered Nurse)
LOCATION: East of Columbus, Ohio

If so, an opportunity to work with an integrated health care system based in east central Ohio is looking for someone to join their team.
The system is a not-for-profit and has over 300 physicians and multiple outpatient care centers throughout the area.
The system is the largest provider in a six county region and a primary referral center.
It offers a higher level of service than what is typically found in a community of its size including open-heart surgery, trauma care, a Level II neonatal intermediate care unit, neurosurgery and
comprehensive cancer services.
Plans, provides and/or supervises the nursing care of patients in an efficient and caring manner of the specified area of nursing.
Coordinates care planning with other caregivers and with other areas, adheres to universal precautions, and is compliant with infection control policies.
Works independently with minimal supervision.
Demonstrates proficiency with critical thinking related to preoperative assessment and postoperative care of surgical patient.
Demonstrates proficiency assisting with the following: infusion therapy, lump and bump procedures,
Demonstrates flexibility to accommodate work schedule and scheduled shifts to include equality of call coverage, starting early, late shift, and reassignment to opposite campus.
Proficient with specimen collection/documentation.
Completes documentation of daily unit maintenance checks.
Demonstrates proficiency with OPTIME/EPIC
Completes all mandatory competencies within posted time frames; i.e. moderate sedation, annual competency.
Accurately captures all applicable patient charges and submits on proper documentation.
BSN or Bachelors degree in a health-related field.
RN Degree in Ohio required.
Current CPR certification or obtain within 30 days of employment.
ACLS required for RN or obtained within 6 months.
Other credentials required depending on the area working in: PALS, TNCC, BCA, NRP, EVOC, and ENPC.
Ability to read, write and explain or describe moderately complex information to other hospital staff.
Looking for RN's in most areas(ED, Critical Care areas, Surgery)
Night shifts are the most pressing needs but the schedule depends on the position and full time and part time(20hrs minimum per week) can be available.
Magnet designation in process.
The hospital will offer an hourly range between $23.99-38.92per hr depending on experience and a great benefit package. Night shift does pay an additional $4.50hr.
