Projects ranging from 100k up to 700K give or take.
You will be tasked with working with the PM and leading other engineers for equipment design and layout of each project which includes but not limited to - planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating the technical aspects of each project.
To be successful -
Knowledge of process, electrical, mechanical and civil engineering principles, practices and methods; engineering economics; federal and state codes and regulations governing the operation of industrial facilities, environmental regulations, and workplace safety; engineering project management methods and techniques.
Ability to supervise plant construction projects and track project cost to assure budget is well maintained.
Assist with the development and management of the annual Capital and Major Maintenance Budgets.
Staying up-to-date with internally and externally driven training.
To be considered -
You need to have a BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or similar with 9+ years project management experience.
Strong knowledge of equipment and specialty chemical unit operations in a chemical plant setting.
Having the ability to work and lead cross-functional teams is highly needed all while being organized, safety focused and with great communication.
