Internal Audit Risk Director

You will be fully responsible for executing internal audits related to Risk Management for numerous lines of business across the corporation. These areas may include but are not limited to the following; Credit, Market, Operational, Third Party, Corporate Treasury, Enterprise Risk, Capital Markets, Model Risk Management, etc.

Requirements:

Required:

 

  1. 10+ years of related experience
  2. Professional certification such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and/or other risk management certification.
  3. Ability to quickly comphrehend complex, new and dynamic processes and manage multiple work efforts and to quickly change direction, as needed.
  4. Basic understanding of client relationship management and basic acquaintance of project management.
  5. Self-motivated and works with a sense of urgency and high attention to detail.
  6. Bachelor's degree
  7. MS Office and Excel proficient.
  8. Direct experience in bank internal audit.
  9. Basic acquaintance of operational and technical environments of financial institutions including basic acquaintance of applicable banking laws and regulations.
  10. Robust acquaintance of audit principles, practices and methodologies including understanding of audit principles that govern objectivity and independence.
  11. Deliver audit updates and outcomes to appropriate parties through judicious communications.
  12. Reviewing management reporting and supporting the design and implementation of technology empowered unceasing risk monitoring and auditing answers that impact the planning of audit activities.
  13. Incorporate process documentation, risk identification, internal control identification, internal control evaluation, and supporting in the preparation of audit reports highlighting audit problems and pertinent process augmentations.
