We are seeking a powerhouse Technical Product Lead to drive BESS product lines from initial architecture to global certification and high-volume production.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role requiring deep energy storage expertise and strong execution discipline
Key Responsibilities
Product Architecture & Design: Define standard BESS system architecture and roadmaps. Balance performance, safety, DFM/DfR, cost, and strict thermal constraints.
Validation & UL Certification: Own the end-to-end product validation strategy. Lead UL certification efforts (UL 1973, 9540, 9540A, NFPA 855) to prevent late-stage redesigns.
Contract Manufacturer (CM) Oversight: Lead the technical relationship with CMs. Supervise tooling, process design, quality KPIs, production ramp-up, and root-cause troubleshooting.
Value Engineering & Cost Discipline: Drive cost-versus-performance trade studies early. Eliminate overdesign and partner with the supply chain to hit target costs without compromising safety.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Enforce configuration control and Engineering Change Notices (ECN). Collaborate with Controls, R&D, and Sales to ensure clean field integration. Manage and mentor the engineering team.

Proven track record of scaling complex hardware from concept to certified production.
Direct experience with large-scale BESS, grid services, or data center applications.
Hands-on expertise with UL 1973, 9540, 9540A, and NFPA 855 compliance.
Deep background in system architecture, thermal design, and value engineering.
Experience managing cross-functional technical teams and external CMs.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
