Well established consumer products manufacturer in Lewistown PA looking for an experienced Safety Engineer to help reduce injury rates and workers comp costs. This is a big plant and is strictly a health and safety position. Need someone with a strong health and safety background in manufacturing with experience making safety improvements and reducing costs. Leadership skills are also important as the person must have experience coaching, mentoring, and training others. Would consider someone who is a Safety Manager at a smaller plant as long as they are ok with being a Safety Engineer for a larger plant.
