Job description:

Duties:

• Designs tooling, gages, fixtures, and other items specified during the APQP process. Design outputs include math models, detail drawings, engineering data, wear allowances, assemblies, bill of materials, setup sheets and other information needed by toolmakers, engineers, and production teams.
• Collaborates with setup teams, engineers, and production personnel to develop processes, resolve quality and productivity issues, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Requirements:

• A technical designer capable of applying advanced techniques and analysis to the design and application of press tooling, fixtures, gages, assemblies, and related items used in the production of components.
• Will consider a fresh graduate with an A.S. or B.S. in Engineering and an interest in tool design.
