Finance & Accounting Director

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Finance & Accounting Director to lead the Groups finance function across multiple F&B, retail, restaurant, catering, production and distribution businesses.

This is a hands-on and commercially focused leadership role. The successful candidate will strengthen financial controls and reporting while working closely with the Managing Director and business leaders to improve profitability, cash flow, costing and overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities

Finance Leadership

• Lead the Finance & Accounting function across multiple companies and business units.
• Partner with the Managing Director and leadership team on financial and commercial decisions.
• Establish strong finance processes, controls, policies and governance.

FP&A & Business Planning

• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning.
• Provide regular analysis of revenue, costs, profitability, cash flow and business performance.
• Prepare financial models and business cases for new stores, products, contracts and investments.

Accounting & Reporting

• Oversee monthly and annual closing, consolidation and management reporting.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial statements across all entities.
• Improve the quality, consistency and reliability of financial data and reporting.

Costing, Inventory & Profitability

• Lead product, menu and operational costing.
• Monitor food costs, COGS, gross margins, inventory and waste.
• Work with Operations, Procurement and Commercial teams to identify cost savings and improve margins.

Cash Flow & Working Capital

• Manage cash flow forecasting, liquidity and working capital.
• Oversee relationships with banks, suppliers and other financial stakeholders.
• Ensure sufficient cash is available for payroll, taxes, suppliers and business operations.

Tax, Audit & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with Thai accounting, tax and statutory requirements.
• Manage external audits, tax reviews and statutory filings.
• Ensure financial risks and compliance issues are identified and addressed.

Systems, Controls & Data

• Strengthen internal controls around sales, purchasing, payments, inventory and cash.
• Improve finance systems, ERP/POS integration, reporting and data quality.
• Identify opportunities to automate and simplify finance processes.

Team Leadership

• Lead, develop and structure a high-performing Finance & Accounting team.
• Set clear responsibilities, KPIs and performance standards.
• Manage external finance partners, auditors, tax advisers and other service providers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Professional accounting qualification is preferred.
• 10+ years of Finance & Accounting experience, with significant leadership experience.
• Experience as a Finance Director, Head of Finance, Financial Controller or similar senior role.
• Strong background in F&B, Retail, Hospitality, Manufacturing, FMCG or other multi-site/multi-entity businesses.
• Strong knowledge of FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, tax, audit, cash flow and internal controls.
• Experience with costing, inventory and margin management is highly preferred.
• Strong Excel, ERP and financial reporting skills. Experience with SAP Business One, POS systems and BI/dashboard tools is an advantage.
• Strong commercial and analytical mindset with the ability to translate numbers into business decisions.
• Fluent in Thai and English.
• Hands-on, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment.
