Our client, a prominent AmLaw 200 firm, is seeking a talented Associate Attorney with litigation experience to join its Hartford office supporting its commercial litigation practice. This opportunity is ideal for a junior associate who is eager to develop a broad-based litigation practice within a collaborative, high-performance law firm environment. The role offers hands-on experience handling matters in both state and federal courts, with meaningful responsibility and direct client interaction.
Candidate Profile

JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record

Active Bar Admission in Connecticut, in good standing

1-3 years of substantive commercial litigation experience
- Experience handling litigation matters in state and federal courts within a law firm setting
- Exposure to employment law–related issues is a plus, but not required

Judicial clerkship experience is valued, though not mandatory
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated commitment to client service, professionalism, and high-quality work product

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive Salary: Expected annual salary range of $145,000-$155,000, as determined by experience and market factors
