Vascular Surgeon
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Vascular Surgeon to join a dynamic surgical team within a 155-bed community-based teaching hospital in Southwest Georgia. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, including four board-certified general surgeons, in a thriving physician group.
Position Highlights:
- Competitive Compensation: Guaranteed salary based on experience with an annual 3% cost-of-living adjustment.

- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with time divided equally between clinic duties and the operating room.
- Call Duties: Required 7 days per month, shared with the general surgery team, with extra pay for additional call.

Requirements:
- Completion or near completion of a vascular surgery fellowship.
- Board-certified or board certification eligible (must obtain certification within 5 years if eligible).
- Valid Georgia Medical License or participation in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact.
Additional Information:
- Willingness to contribute to the expansion of the vascular surgery service line.
- Participation in general surgery call required.
- Initial case mix expected to be 60% general surgery and 40% vascular surgery for the first year.
- Proficiency in vascular procedures such as Carotid Endarterectomies and Fem-fem bypasses is beneficial.
