What You’ll Be Doing 

  • Lead and manage the design of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems for new construction and renovations. 

  • Develop and review design approaches, methodologies, and calculations. 

  • Prepare and coordinate drawings, specifications, and technical documents. 

  • Oversee QA/QC reviews to ensure quality and accuracy. 

  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to mechanical engineering staff. 

  • Coordinate multi-discipline project efforts and ensure design integration across all teams. 

  • Support proposals, budgets, and project schedules. 

  • Interface with clients to confirm project scope and deliverables. 

  • Participate in construction administration activities including site visits, RFI responses, and shop drawing reviews. 

  • Maintain compliance with codes, standards, and quality control procedures. 

 

What You’ll Bring to the Job 

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. 

  • 4–10 years of experience in mechanical building systems within a consulting engineering environment. 

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in at least one U.S. state (local jurisdiction preferred). 

  • Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD. 

  • Active or obtainable security clearance. 

  • Must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer without sponsorship now or in the future.
