Our client, a prestigious AmLaw 50 international law firm, is seeking a talented Junior Associate Attorney to join its celebrated Government Contracts team in Tysons. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated and high-stakes matters involving federal procurement laws, bid protests, claims, investigations, and government-related litigation.
Candidate Profile

JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
- Active Bar Admission in Virginia, in good standing
- 2–4 years of substantive government contracts experience
- Strong working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and other federal procurement laws
- Experience with bid protests, investigations, and claims
- Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to take initiative, work efficiently, and collaborate in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to professional excellence
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in government contracts matters, including bid protests, investigations, claims, and related litigation
- Advise clients on federal procurement laws, including compliance with the FAR and agency-specific regulations
- Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, motions, pleadings, and other litigation documents
- Support case strategy and matter management across various stages of dispute resolution and advisory work
- Work closely with partners and senior attorneys in a team-oriented setting
- Provide high-quality, timely, and detail-oriented legal work product

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive Salary: Annual base salary is expected to range from $235,000-$310,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and market factors
