Our client is a highly regarded marine manufacturer with a location very close to Acadia National Park. This is an amazing place to live and relocation will be provided.

This is a newly created position, VP of Quality to optimize productivity and put in place a quality system, establish quality measures, oversee the Quality Management System QMS and conduct audits.

 

They need someone up for the challenge of building their own QMS from the bottom up and they don’t need to come from the boat building community. They need a forward thinking QA professional who wants the challenge of building their own Quality program who will need to run a full audit before any attempt to make changes or shift in the operation. Once the boat yard is brought up to par, the other locations will need to be engaged with.

 

The role reports to the COO and will work with the Plant Manager on site who also reports to the COO. The quality group on-site are 2 Engineers 2 technicians.

 

The salary range is 150k – 170k & 25% bonus eligibility, US citizen or Permanent Resident
