Litigation Attorney - LAW3002
Houston, TX (Remote with Some Travel)
We are seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to oversee and manage a busy El Paso litigation docket. This is a remote position, and all necessary resources will be provided to establish your home office. Responsibilities:
- Manage client communications and maintain case calendar/docket system
- Negotiate with insurance companies
- Prepare clients for depositions and conduct defendant/expert depositions
- Attend court hearings, mediations, status conferences, docket calls, pre-trial, and trial
- Prepare, file, and serve pleadings, motions, deposition notices, and discovery materials
- Collaborate with partner attorneys on case strategy and progress
- Handle a high-volume caseload while meeting deadlines
- Provide regular case status updates
- Apply established case management processes
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- Bilingual (Spanish) required
- Minimum 2 years of personal injury litigation or trial experience
- Licensed to practice law in Texas
- Strong knowledge of Texas Rules of Civil Procedure, Remedies Code, and Rules of Evidence
- Experience with eFiling via Txcourts.gov
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel to Houston for onboarding, training, and team events
