Plant Manager (Construction)

$120,000 CDN per year

Our client is a construction company based in Toronto with a legacy spanning nearly a century. As a pioneer in our field, we've built a strong reputation for excellence and reliability. Our areas of expertise include paving and road construction, delivering top-tier asphalt paving solutions and managing projects from start to finish. We're seeking an experienced Asphalt Plant Manager to oversee the production, maintenance, and personnel at our multiple plant site locations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily production and operations to achieve operational excellence and maximize profitability
- Collaborate with Sales and Operations teams to meet production volume and requirements
- Work with Quality Control team to ensure quality and specifications are met
- Manage subcontractor activities and enforce company policies and safety protocols
- Participate in hiring, coaching, and mentoring employees
- Budgetary responsibility for asphalt plants, repairs, and maintenance
- Manage Environmental and Safety protocols

Qualifications:

- Experience in asphalt manufacturing
- Organized with ability to change priorities as needed
- Ability to successfully lead and mentor a team
- Basic computer skills required
