Job Title: Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the finance team, including bookkeepers and payroll personnel.
• Oversee daily accounting operations such as accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
• Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closes.
• Prepare internal financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Maintain the integrity of financial records and enforce strong internal controls.
• Collaborate with external accountants for tax filings and annual audits.
• Maximize the efficiency of QuickBooks and other financial tools to streamline workflows.
• Identify and implement improvements in financial procedures, cost controls, and reporting accuracy.
• Provide actionable financial insights to support strategic planning and decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or MBA is a plus.
• At least 5 years of experience in financial management or accounting, including team leadership.
• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, payroll systems, and financial compliance requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication abilities.
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS).
• Background in construction, vegetation management, or field service industries.
• Experience managing accounting for multiple locations or entities.
