The Opportunity:
As a Strategic Account Executive, you will be instrumental in driving revenue growth by developing new business relationships and securing new accounts, supported by our highly experienced operations team. You will focus on selling FTL (Full Truckload), LTL (Less-than-Truckload), expedited air cargo and final-mile delivery.

This role includes significant travel (50%) to business sites in your respective area plus opportunities to travel further as needed and approved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition: Identify and target prospective clients moving high-value goods, often in but not limited to, the technology sector.  Help deliver tailored logistics solutions that result in recurring and consistent revenues.
  • Relationship Management: Build strong, trustworthy client relationships that yield referrals and return business.  Hold account implementation meetings to support onboarding along with account reviews and regular follow ups.
  • Sales Presentations: Create compelling proposals showcasing our value and services.
  • Negotiations: Close deals with favorable terms for both clients and the company.
  • Market Insights: Monitor industry trends to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • CRM Management: Maintain detailed records of client interactions and sales performance.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years of domestic transportation sales (TL/LTL) in the mid-sized business segment. Preference will be given to candidates with a transferable book of business.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation abilities. CRM proficiency is essential.
  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of domestic air cargo, surface freight forwarding & brokerage, and associated transportation modes.  International Air/Ocean forwarding, customs regulations and trade compliance experience is a plus.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel to client meetings and events.

Compensation: The base salary for this role will start between $70,000 and $80,000. OTE will conservatively range from $125,000–$200,000+
