Are you an accomplished leader with a passion for compassionate care? We are looking for a dynamic individual to take on the role of Executive Director in a hospice setting. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of goals for hospice services, ensuring alignment with organizational mission and patient care standards.
- Oversee daily operations, including staff management, budget maintenance, and compliance with healthcare regulations at local, state, and federal levels.
- Recruit, hire, and mentor qualified staff, fostering a culture of excellence and compassion.
- Ensure effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Monitor hospice census and staffing patterns to ensure adequate resource allocation and service delivery.
- Manage financial operations, including budgeting, billing, and financial reporting.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to organizational policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Current RN license required, with a preference for candidates with executive director-level hospice leadership experience.
- Minimum of three years in healthcare and five years in a leadership role, preferably within a hospice or similar setting.
- Proven business development and growth capabilities.
- Licensed physician, registered nurse, social worker, or a Bachelor's degree with at least three years of documented success in the relevant field.
- Current CPR certification required for those providing direct patient services.
- Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to reliable transportation.
