Job Summary

Seeking a Journeyperson Mechanic (310T or 421A) to maintain stationary and mobile industrial machinery. Must work rotating shifts and overtime as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

Operate and lubricate mining equipment safely and efficiently.

Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and installations on hydraulic, pneumatic, and low-voltage electrical systems.

Maintain diesel engines, crushers, screeners, and conveyors.

Conduct welding, cutting, and grinding tasks.

Use CMMS systems and complete inspection sheets, work orders, and reports.

Ensure compliance with Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.

Train less-skilled employees and maintain a clean, hazard-free workplace.

Qualifications:

Qualifications

Valid 310T (Truck and Coach Technician) or 421A (Heavy Duty Equipment Technician) certification required.

3+ years of mechanic experience preferred.

Proficient in hydraulic, pneumatic, and diesel engine troubleshooting and repair.

Skilled in welding, cutting, and reading schematics (hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical).

Familiar with Lock Out/Tag Out procedures and power transmission/alignment.

Computer skills (e.g., CAT ET, Windows, SMAG, GHH).

Welding certification is an asset.
