A leading AmLaw 50 firm is seeking talented junior/mid/senior-level Associate Attorneys to join its prestigious Leveraged Finance Practice Group in New York. This is an exceptional opportunity to advise clients on complex financing transactions while collaborating with a nationally recognized team.
Candidate Profile
- JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
- Active Bar Admission in New York, in good standing.

2–8 years of substantive experience in leveraged finance, preferably leveraged loans and acquisition financings.
- Associates with related finance experience will also be considered.
- Experience representing financial institutions and private equity sponsors in complex financing transactions.
- Demonstrated excellence in drafting, negotiation, and deal management.
- Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills; sound business judgment; attention to detail; and the ability to thrive both independently and within a team setting in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on leveraged loans, acquisition financings, and general leveraged finance structures.
- Draft, review, and negotiate credit agreements, security agreements, intercreditor agreements, and related documentation.
- Provide counsel on structuring, regulatory, and compliance matters related to finance transactions.
- Oversee transactions from structuring through closing, ensuring high-quality work product and responsiveness.
- Collaborate across practice groups, including tax, restructuring, and M&A, to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.
- Contribute to business development initiatives.
