A well-established, family-operated civil contractor based in Central Ohio is seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to support its growing portfolio of public and private infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities
-
Manage and oversee civil construction projects from start to finish

Lead and coordinate with field crews, subcontractors, and vendors

Attend and represent the company in project meetings, both onsite and virtual

Maintain project documentation and track changes, RFIs, and submittals

Coordinate material procurement, equipment scheduling, and delivery timelines

Oversee project financials including billing, job cost tracking, and change orders

Prepare and submit monthly pay applications (AIA G702/G703)

Monitor safety practices and ensure compliance with OSHA standards

Work directly with clients, engineers, and public agency stakeholders to ensure quality, schedule, and budget goals are met
Qualifications
-
4+ years of experience in civil project management or excavation supervision

Proven track record managing grading, underground utilities, or heavy civil work

Familiarity with AIA documentation, billing formats, and change order processes

Ability to read and interpret civil engineering plans and blueprints

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Strong leadership presence on-site with a commitment to safety

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Procore, Sage, or similar project management platforms

OSHA 30 certification
-
Degree in Construction Management or related field (a plus, not required)

Familiarity with ODOT or public infrastructure standards
