We are recruiting on Purpose an BIM Designer for our Client in Nashville, TN.
Examples of Work Performed:

Prepares BIM-generated structural drawings across a diverse range of project types and industries, including manufacturing, distribution, data centers, commercial buildings, self-storage, towers, signage, historic preservation, public sector facilities, retail developments, adaptive reuse, and renovations.

Develops virtual structural models based on markups provided by designers or licensed professionals, supporting construction, fabrication, and procurement throughout the building lifecycle.

Demonstrates expertise in software modeling within a specific design discipline (architectural, mechanical, or structural), serving as a highly skilled BIM technician.

Executes standard tasks and more advanced, complex functions as needed.

Collaborates with internal and external disciplines to ensure deliverables meet project specifications, incorporate design/model changes, fulfill client expectations, and comply with organizational standards and quality protocols.

Produces detailed and accurate construction documents and extracts relevant data using discipline-specific BIM platforms.

Works closely with structural engineers and designers to develop models and drawings in alignment with execution plans and project workflow requirements.

Applies sound engineering principles and detailing standards efficiently and reliably.

Coordinates and manages design documentation using BIM tools to support a fully integrated project delivery approach.

Participates in conferences, seminars, and workshops on behalf of the company and facilitates internal knowledge sharing.

Stays current on BIM best practices and advancements in BIM software.

Develops BIM content specific to the structural discipline.

Reviews shop drawings and submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements.

Implements procedural and standards updates, ensuring effective communication to relevant project teams.
Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree or relevant technical certification is preferred.

2–7 years of directly related experience.

Proficiency in Revit is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Experience with structural design involving wood, structural steel, load-bearing light-gauge steel, concrete, and masonry.

Familiarity with both shallow and deep foundation systems in low- to mid-rise construction projects.
