As a highly-skilled and compassionate Cath-Lab Technologist, you will aid with all invasive cardiac, vascular and interventional procedures. You will demonstrate clinical competency, nursing judgment, teaching skills, and a commitment to providing quality patient care. You will be responsible for all testing and therapeutics that takes place in the Cath lab. These procedures include but are not limited to: cardiac catheterizations and/or coronary interventions, EP device and ablation therapies, interventional radiology, neuro diagnostic/interventions, endovascular procedures, and structural Heart (LAAC, TAVR) procedures.

You will facilitate effective communication among departmental staff to ensure interdisciplinary and collaborative approach to patient care. Uses appropriate SBAR process for hand-off communication.

You will assist the patient through all aspects of the procedure, including transport, site preparation, sterile procedure, patient monitoring, and hemostasis following removal of catheter or sheath, and return to room. Manages emergent cases.

You will maintain accurate, timely and compliant patient records. Completes all paperwork associated with these procedures and prepares tests for physician interpretation.

You will demonstrate an ability to be flexible, organized and function well under stressful situations

You will collaborate with fellow members of the team and orient and needed.

Qualifications:

American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification

American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certified (ACLS) within six months of hire

Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), or Registered Radiographer (ARRT)

Shift times:7a 7:30p (12 hr shifts)

Must have experienceARRT/RCIS cert preferred

Open to reviewing CVOR/CST with strong Vascular/IR exp

Exp Scrubbing, Monitoring, and Circulating required

4yrs Cath/IR exp strongly preferred

No mapping exp needed (performed by 3rdparty company)

Unit Beds/ rooms:3 rooms, average 4-6 procedures per day
