Our client is a successful global manufacturer with an operation in the Bethlehem PA area.
At this time, they are hoping to attract an International Sales Manager who will
be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with Manufacturing Rep Organizations as well as with current and prospective customers, essentially Pharmaceutical and Biotech firms to sell aftermarket products, service contracts and technology system in regions where the company does not have direct sales presence. This is NOT a short selling cycle…..its consultative type solution sales.
HUGE opportunity to grow sales as their technology is the wave of the future and they have very little presence right now in Asia (except China), South America, Eastern Europe.
The VP of Sales will provide support and guidance to achieve goals. This is a remote office situation. Ideally be located within an hour of Bethlehem, PA OR be close to a major airport.
Evaluate the 5 existing manufacturing rep organizations and recommend new rep organizations….should grow them significantly.
Accompany reps on customer visits
Study the market, develop business intelligence, educate C-Suite in how to expand internationally.
70% travel – they want someone who loves to travel and be face to face with customers and reps.
